Hey, great news; this is episode 2 of the vlog. In this episode I go to a farmers’ market where there was a truly sensational discovery (clue is something to do with bacon) and then on to a more established food market, the Queen Vic Market in Melbourne, where I’m on the hunt for a cheap yet super cut of meat…as you may have guessed from the title this is pork neck. There’s bags of food banter in between where I revisit a month in Hanoi, talk about the farmers’ market revolution and share a tasty spot of lunch. To finish I give you a practical cooking demo of how to get that pork neck succulent and tasting truly remarkable. It is such an underestimated cut of meat yet cooked well outdoes most other pan-fried cuts of meat.
I’d love some feedback – constructive if you can hint at improvement or lavish praise if you reckon this is a goer ???? or just your thoughts about eating and cooking. Also, if there are any dishes, cooking and preparation techniques or ingredients that you want featured in a video then let me know.
